In pursuit of this mission, Transgene has leveraged extensive sleep medical knowledge to develop the "MindUP Digital Sleep Medical Service Platform." Utilizing digital healthcare platform technology, we adhere to the values of social innovation services to realize a holistic medical philosophy where the pursuit of a joyful and active life takes precedence over mere prevention and is considered more critical than treatment.

"MindUP" combines precise, convenient, and comfortable medical-grade wearable devices with a digital healthcare platform. Through a low-cost, high-efficiency approach, it collaborates with local hospitals and clinics to provide individuals and corporate employees with solutions to improve sleep, mood, and stress issues. Transgene’s "MindUP" has received recognition, winning the "National Healthcare Quality Award," "Innovation Business Award," and "Industrial Bureau Digital Technology Application Talent Award" in Taiwan, highlighting the nation’s acknowledgment of Transgene’s technological expertise and healthcare service quality.

Unlike typical monitoring tools that only collect physiological data, our system emphasizes the analysis and organization of physiological data along with digital questionnaire information, serving as a diagnostic foundation for healthcare professionals. After diagnosis, the system tailors personalized treatment packages and services to address individual issues promptly and effectively. It features mechanisms for "case management," "doctor-patient interaction," and "tracking the effectiveness of medical prescriptions," aiming to instill in patients the concept of "self-disciplined learning" for continuous and effective treatment.

To fulfill the mission of helping every person who has trouble falling asleep easily obtain high-quality sleep, in addition to developing "MindUP," Transgene has also created a series of sleep aid products. These include the "Oropharyngeal Muscle Strength Training Device," the "Intelligent Anti-Snoring Shoulder and Neck Pillow," and the "Physiological Information Relaxation Sleep Guidance Device." These products were successfully exported to Hong Kong in 2023.

MindUP Health Sleep Digital Therapeutics (DTx) Support System

The purpose of the MindUP system design is to address three B-to-B issues and one B-to-C issue:

1. Pain Points for Primary-Level Medical and Health Care Institutions Entering the Sleep Market: Purchasing standard sleep diagnostic equipment (PSG) and training sleep technicians are not economically feasible for primary-level medical and health care institutions. MindUP provides testing and adjunctive therapy tools to help them identify clients with sleep disorders. Additionally, we design a ""multifaceted sleep problem solution"" to be sold to grassroots medical units.

2. Pain Points for Sleep Industry Suppliers Entering the Sleep Market: The lack of clinical evidence for products or services from sleep industry suppliers raises customer doubts during purchases. The MindUP system can provide improvement data for sleep industry suppliers before and after customer use, increasing customer trust.

3. Pain Points for Enterprise Employees Regarding ESG Issues: ESG issues and talent shortages are significant concerns for enterprises. Employee assistance programs (EAPs) enable enterprises to develop ESG initiatives while creating an environment for talent retention. Research confirms that sleep directly impacts employee leadership charisma, corporate decision-making, corporate culture, and job performance. The MindUP system can provide convenient, economical, and effective employee sleep health management and improvement plans to create corporate value.

4. Pain Points for the Discomfort of Polysomnography: Polysomnography requires overnight hospital stays for 4-6 hours of nighttime testing, presenting the following issues:

(1) Limited hospital bed availability leads to long wait times and high costs for checks.

(2) Overnight stays in hospitals are inconvenient for returning to work the next day.

(3) Unfamiliar environments with many sensors attached to the body are uncomfortable, making it difficult to fall asleep and affecting the accuracy of the tests.

The MindUP system allows customers to easily conduct sleep checks at home and obtain medically recognized test data.
