About Company

Quadlink Technology Inc. was established in 2010, focusing on the development of "Internet of Things (IoT)" systems. By utilizing sensors, computers/smartphones, cloud, and big data technologies, the company aims to optimize agricultural production and distribution. This experienced team, composed of members from the wireless communication and cloud computing sectors, has been in business for seven years. By transforming traditional fish farming industries and creating innovative business models through IoT applications, Quadlink Technology maximizes the derived value.

To date, Quadlink has implemented more than 700 smart aquaculture systems. Their geographical reach extends beyond Taiwan to overseas markets, including China and Southeast Asia (such as Indonesia and the Philippines). Quadlink assists fish farmers in monitoring risks, controlling parameters, and establishing standard cultivation models. The results speak for themselves: yields have increased by 30%, energy consumption has been reduced by 30%, and feed savings have also reached 30%.

In addition, Quadlink has developed micro-seismic wave fresh-keeping devices and antibacterial equipment for the cold chain, successfully extending the freshness and nutritional value of goods in freezers.

With transparent data available to end customers, trust and reliability are established between both parties. By providing customized smart factory monitoring solutions, traditional manufacturing companies can easily transform in no time. Thus, Quadlink is a reliable partner for smart aquaculture and smart business solutions.

Product Info

Quadlink Technology Inc. has developed the main product, “Aquadlink,” by utilizing IoT, big data, and wireless communication technologies. The product includes:

1. QAM300-DE: The Smart Water Quality Monitoring System is powered by solar cells for 24-hour operation. This floating device collects real-time data from the water every five minutes, such as temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), and salinity. The data is sent to the QIoT cloud, where it is stored and analyzed with various easy-to-read diagrams and graphs. These diagrams and graphs are simultaneously sent to farmers’ mobile phones, tablets, or computers via an app, allowing them to understand the real-time water quality and take appropriate actions.

2. QAM300-OC: The Smart Equipment Monitor & Control System enables farmers to easily control the auto-feeding machine and paddle wheel by setting thresholds for DO and other parameters. The farm environment and growing process are precisely monitored and controlled by the system, ensuring better food quality. This is what we claim as "For better food and environment."

3. Pre-warning System: A crucial design feature, the pre-warning system helps farmers realize the real water quality through scientific data. If an abnormal situation arises, they can take preemptive actions.

4. Cold Chain System: This system can be used in the three temperature zones of refrigeration, freezing, and thawing for food preservation. The technical principle involves releasing low-frequency micro-shock waves of 100~120Hz into the cold chain space. This causes water molecules in the ingredients to generate a vibration amplitude, slightly vibrating the cells, activating them, and keeping the ingredients fresh. In addition to effectively inhibiting the number of bacteria in the ingredients, it preserves the nutritional level of the original ingredients. By slightly vibrating the cells of the ingredients, the system prolongs their shelf life. The resulting ice crystals are small and ball-shaped without spikes, minimizing damage to food cells during freezing, reducing sharp crystallization of damaged cells, and greatly reducing the exudation of tissue fluid and blood after thawing.

Product Solutions

Pain Points:

1. Traditional breeding relies solely on the experience of fishermen without real data references, making it easy to incur accidental losses.

2. On average, farmers are aging, and traditional aquaculture cannot attract young people, leading to a potential gap in farmer succession.

3. Farmers must spend all their time on the fish farm, leaving no extra time for their families, which results in a poor quality of life and can cause social problems.

4. Hand-held measuring instruments only provide single-point data and cannot fully capture the water quality of fish ponds.

5. The use of unnecessary or excessive chemicals or drugs causes environmental damage and raises health concerns among consumers.

6. Handwritten records of breeding management data are prone to data loss and cannot compare the breeding status in real-time, rendering the data ineffective for providing accurate references.

Solutions:

1. Aquadlink combines IoT, big data, wireless communication, and other technologies to collect water quality data in fish farms every five minutes through sophisticated sensors. It sends real-time data to the cloud platform for storage and analysis. Farmers can monitor water quality status via mobile phones or tablets, and the warning system allows them to detect changes in water quality in advance and take necessary corrective measures. The scientific water quality data collected by the sensors provide fish farmers with more accurate judgment references. Based on their own farming experience, they can implement the most effective and appropriate improvement methods according to the data trends.

2. Farmers do not need to stay beside the ponds 24 hours a day; they can monitor data changes on their mobile phones from anywhere, including abroad. Such smart devices can attract more young people to participate in farming, injecting vitality into the industry, enhancing industrial momentum, and increasing output value and income.

3. Combined with the Smart Equipment Monitor System, the switches of paddle wheels and feeding machines can be remotely controlled, significantly saving and improving labor costs, power consumption, and time waste. Farmers can also reduce unnecessary chemical use by accurately knowing the water quality, maintaining consumer health and safety.

4. Every piece of water quality data is stored in the database in detail. The relevant data can be linked to the production and sales history of the public sector at any time for consumer inquiries, providing truly transparent and open information.
