Founded in 2018, tst biomedical Electronics Co., Ltd. (tstbio) is a subsidiary of Tai-Saw Technology Co., Ltd. (TST) with the main focus on biomedical electronics.
Based on TST's core technology of Surface Acoustic Waves (SAW) and its long-term strategic partner, Japan Radio Co., Ltd. (JRC), tstbio has developed a simple and robust SAW Biosensor point of care testing (POCT, aka bedside testing) product known as iProtin.
iProtin is an in vitro diagnostic device (IVD) with easy operation and cost-effective advantages for domestic and clinic applications. With a drop of blood from the fingertip, iProtin can measure biomarkers within 5 to 10 minutes. The result can later be used as diagnostic and monitored reference to improve health conditions.

In addition to blood detection, tstbio has developed different devices to detect biomarkers with the focus on severe chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), etc. for domestic use.
