About Company

1. EMS was created in 1991 and is the manufacturer of smart water meters with the highest market share (over 90%) in Taiwan.
2. EMS has developed intelligent water meters and communication interfaces with over 30 years of research and innovation capacity, which has been recognized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. A variety of intelligent metering solutions have been awarded the Taiwan Excellence Award for the past seven years.
3. With the introduction of IoT concepts, EMS integrates advanced communications technologies, such as 4G/NB-IoT/LoRaWAN, with smart water meters to provide comprehensive smart water services for various water utilities, industrial parks, smart buildings, schools, and government organizations worldwide. This includes water supply network monitoring solutions, district meter areas, and sub-metering solutions for high-rise buildings.
4. Compared to telecommunications companies and system integrators, EMS understands the deep meaning behind flow data, so we can effectively support customers in reducing high leakage rates in the water supply network. Furthermore, we can lower NRW (Non-revenue water) and efficiently upgrading water resource systems.
5. Overseas, EMS has been cooperating with 10 distributors for years and providing services to 16 countries. Currently, EMS mainly focuses on the New Southbound countries and actively promotes smart water solutions to markets abroad.

Product Info

 1. Domestic water meters with AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) applications can assist water utilities, households, and department stores in accessing water data, replacing traditional manual reading operations.

2. Multiple water meters can connect to a single repeater, reducing communication and installation costs. All data will be sent back to the server system via either 4G or NB-IoT solutions and integrated with smart home systems or smart water management systems. Administrators and users can access and manage water data through laptops or apps.
3. The water meter has edge computing capabilities, which can detect abnormal water consumption behavior, saving backend server computing space. Even if a value is recorded every hour, it can detect water leaks or backflow conditions.
4. Currently, more than 30,000 households in Taiwan can access online water data, and smart metering solutions have been implemented in Vietnam and Thailand to effectively upgrade local water management and reduce rising leakage rates. By using smart metering, we can not only reduce the cost of supplying water but also conserve precious water resources, making smart water applications possible in many smart cities.
