ChenAn Gas Appliance Co., LTD began planning and design in 2010 for the "earthquake gas breaker," adopting an all-mechanical structure. This design has been patented in four countries, including Taiwan, the United States, Japan, and China. After three years of research and development, the device, with its simple mechanical structure, achieves the safest gas interruption when an earthquake reaches a magnitude of 5 or more. In 2014, it passed the testing of the Earthquake Disaster Prevention Laboratory at Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology and was officially launched the same year. Additionally, it won the gold medal at the "2014 Taipei International Invention Exhibition."

Intelligent gas safety system

When modern people use gas for cooking, the biggest safety hazard is forgetting to turn off the stove and leaving the kitchen after cooking, which frequently leads to fire accidents caused by dry burning, resulting in significant casualties and property loss. The control panel of this safety system uses human body induction. The device activates when the gas safety valve is opened. A countdown starts when a person leaves the kitchen and the timer resets upon detecting the person's return. If the person leaves the kitchen and exceeds the set time, the gas safety valve automatically closes. This system provides an effective solution to the common problem of fires caused by forgetting to turn off the stove. Additionally, the control panel allows users to set the time for long-term cooking. The timer function can be used to turn off the stove, making cooking easier and safer. It can also be integrated with various sensors to automatically turn off the gas when a danger is detected.
