2.Product Concept:
WISE is an intelligent web-based edge controller designed by ICP DAS, with features such as automated logic control, remote monitoring, data collection, and alerting capabilities. It performs the functions of calculation, scheduling, and notification via email, SMS, LINE, WeChat, etc. In addition, the built-in IF-THEN-ELSE statement provides the execution of automated logic stably and efficiently, enabling real-time alert messages to be sent once the logic rules are set up.

3.Product Technical:
1. Easy-to-use WISE series products have a built-in web user interface that allows users to easily configure the control logic of WISE without additional software or programming skills.

2. IF-THEN-ELSE logic rules The built-in IF-THEN-ELSE statement adopts an intuitive and logic approach of human. After the user completes rule editing and downloads it to the controller, the controller will execute the rules in a continuous loop.

3. Support various sensors and I/O modules WISE series products can be used with various ICP DAS modules such as expansion boards, remote I/O modules, and Modbus devices. It offers excellent flexibility that meets diverse application requirements.

4. Support wireless networks WISE series products support 3G/4G wireless communication which greatly saves wiring efforts.

5. Data recovery function WISE Series products provide the data recovery function that automatically sends the data back to the control center. When the cell site’s 3G/4G services suspend, the data logger still functions and records the data in the built-in Micro SD. Once the cell site’s services resume, the saved data files will be transmitted back to the control center.

6. Real-time alarm notification WISE series products enable real-time notifications via email, SMS, LINE, WeChat, etc. Once anomalies are detected, the alarm notification will be sent to management personnel immediately.

4.Product Solution:
1. In automated stores, WISE-5231M-4GE is used to transmit equipment data, liquid leakage data, temperature & humidity data, gas data, etc., to the control center's computer and mobile devices via 4G. Once the anomaly in data is detected, such as overheating, WISE-5231M-4GE will automatically identify them and activate ventilation equipment to lower indoor temperature. Moreover, management staff will be notified instantly to react timely.
Besides, when vandalism or fire occurs in the launderettes, WISE-5231M-4GE will ask ICP DAS Auto Focus IR Bullet IP Camera to capture and send live photos back to the control center, simultaneously sending emails or LINE push notifications to administrators. In addition, WISE-5231M-4GE will trigger ICP DAS Alert Module and make emergency alerts by playing audio files in MP3 format for evacuation.
The WISE Series was deployed in this case to enable real-time monitoring of the automated store for safety purposes.

2. In underground mines, one WISE Intelligent IIoT Edge Controller receives environmental and liquid leakage information, while the other collects water flow data. Then, both transmit the data back to the control center via Modbus TCP, distribute alarm notifications when anomalies arise, and activate the ICP DAS alarm sirens and related equipment at the same time. This system allows management personnel to keep abreast of the work environment conditions of the underground mines at any time.
The WISE Series was deployed in this case to help the customer monitor the concentration of various gases, detect liquid leakage in mines, and monitor drainage systems and water quality in pump stations, creating a safer and more conducive work environment.
