Infomedia Inc. was founded in 2003 as a subsidiary company of Fortune Oriental Company Limited Group (2491.TW) to manufacture blank media and target worldwide markets. The company, which is ISO9001/2000 certified, has become one of the key blank media manufacturers for customers from Japan, Europe, and the US, achieving sales revenues of 11 million USD from the blank media business.
In July 2021, Infomedia formed the Electric Vehicle Business Division as its core business to engage in powertrain design and manufacturing. The new Electric Vehicle team comprises talented engineers and veterans who possess years of automotive development experience and have worked with Tier 1 car makers. The team has full familiarity and knowledge of multiple automotive standards such as ISO-26262 and IATF16949 (International Standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems) to ensure that the design and production processes meet safety, reliability, and quality standards.

Our in-house developed energy-saving technology EV power system features a highly integrated (3-in-1) drive controller, motor, and gearbox. The characteristics of this design reduce volume and weight, and provide high power density (4.30 kW/liter) power output, low idle loss: close to 0% (fuel vehicle: 3%), high transmission efficiency: 77% to 82% (fuel vehicle: 16% to 25%), zero emission pollution: 0% (fuel vehicle: COx, NOx, Sox).
The drive controller and motor share a liquid-cooled heat dissipation system, and a built-in waterway interface reduces the connection and maintenance process of water pipelines. The use of a permanent magnet flat wire motor provides a wide range of high-efficiency operating areas. A closed-loop control algorithm, adopted to provide reliable and stable motor operation, utilizes position sensor closed-loop control.
Our system complies with ISO26262 system functional safety design.
