Product Info

1.Product Slogan:
Simply Less Provides More

2.Product Concept:C
SimuGro fully integrates hardware and software elements to manage water, light, air, feeding, and human/machine resources to prevent the unpredictable from causing disasters. For quick integration, cabling-free installation, less maintenance, and simpler operation to reach highly automated farming, SimuGro replaces conventional PLC (Programmable Logic Controller),the wired system that is currently widely used in agricultural automation. SimuGro fits ANY smart farming applications such as Greenhouse, Aquaculture, Smart Irrigation, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, Chicken Farming…etc.

3.Product Technical:
SimuGro consists of MESHED and WIRELESS AIoT modules and provides DECENTRALISED monitoring and controls, including human and machine scheduling, with AI predictive messaging to reach higher ROI with lower risk.

4.Product Solution:
Online water quality sensors are commonly used for smart aquaculture because it helps fishermen to digitize and understand the actual situation of water quality, replacing the traditional judgment based on experience. After the water quality sensors have been used for some time, especially in the high-temperature, high-sunlight, and high-salt aquaculture environments, they need to be calibrated in addition to cleaning; otherwise the accuracy will be lost and potentially cost high losses. However, fishermen often lack the time or equipment to do professional calibration work. In Taiwan, most relevant equipment manufacturers send personnel to the fields every month for regular calibration and maintenance. However, they are often carried out under the scorching sun, which does not meet the environment required for sensor calibration. And this business model is costly for equipment suppliers.

The company's water sensor kit adopts a patented wireless water-quality optical sensing technology. As a result, fishermen only need to take off the probes that need to be calibrated and send them back to the company/agents, and hang the calibrated probes back to the kit host to monitor water quality seamlessly, and the company does not need to send personnel to the customer's site to complete maintenance and calibration to ensure the correctness of the measured water quality data.

According to the correct water quality index, users can use SimuSwitch to drive the switches of various peripheral equipment, such as paddle wheels and water pumps, to adjust the water quality without using PLC cabling and writing programs to achieve this precise control.

In addition, under this framework, different departments can also cross-interact wirelessly. For example, tropical milkfish often suffer heavy losses when cold snaps strike. One of the main reasons is that when the temperature is lower than the water temperature, milkfish's gills get injured when they swim to the water surface for food. Therefore, when the SimuGro system detects that the temperature is lower than the water temperature, it will automatically close the fish feeder to avoid the chance of injury to the milkfish at low temperatures.
