The EDB01 Reflective Beam Smoke Detector is a unit comprising a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter projects a cone-shaped beam of ultra red rays to prisms. An alarm condition will be determined when the signal is analyzed to conform with the settings of smoke retention levels (4 sensitivity levels). The unit is designed to be wall-mounted at the ceiling so the ultra red ray beam will project approximately 0.3 to 0.6 meters below the ceiling and lateral detection can reach up to 7.5 meters on either side of the beam. The vertical range can be 100 meters, providing a maximum total coverage area of 1500 square meters.
