Each T-shirt is made with patented cinnamon antimicrobial technology combined with recycled plastic bottles. Cinnamon has long been used in Chinese medicine because of its natural antimicrobial property. The patented technology we use adds cinnamon extracts (cinnamaldehyde) into textile fibers without them being damaged under high temperatures during the manufacturing process. This gives our material a natural and permanent antimicrobial performance. Our textile has been tested against Staphylococcus bacteria and is effective even after 20 washes. By stopping bacteria growth, our T-shirt can prevent odor because the odor is a result of bacteria feeding on sweat and lipids on the body. The advantage of our technology is that it's natural and safe unlike another antimicrobial tech on the market that uses coatings with harmful chemicals and heavy metals such as silver and is washed off very quickly which is harmful to the user and the environment.
