The introduction:
Instant NanoBiosensors has developed a light-sensing biomarker analyzer/reader. It utilizes patented Fiber Optic Particle Plasmon Resonance (FOPPR™) and IN-Chip (auto-flowing microfluidic chip) platform technology for the life science research and in vitro diagnostics markets, enabling molecule measurement of proteins, nucleic acids and cells. With the unique & patented FOPPR™ and IN-CHIP technologies, the Light-Sensing Biomarker Analyzer/Reader platforms offer instant and accurate results for a variety of applications. In 2020, Instant NanoBiosensors was the innovative young company for worldwide strategic collaboration selected by Merck KGaA.

R&D capability:
Accumulating over 10 years of R&D experience, incorporating microfluidics, biology, chemistry and optoelectronics know-how, we developed this technology using optical fiber for molecular testing. With only 1 drop of blood (10~20μL), 3 step-applications and 5 minutes to result, our platform/product can revolutionize traditional immunoassays and analyses for a more efficient healthcare ecosystem.

The product
Light Sensing Biomarker Analyzer (INB-D200), a label-free, real-time, and low-cost sensing platform, is based on the Fiber Optic Particle Plasmon Resonance (FOPPRTM) technology which takes advantage of the multiple total internal reflections in an optical fiber to offer superior detection limits. With the three advantages of small sample size (<20uL blood), simple operation (sample, loading, analysis) and five-minute instant detection, our platform still maintains a wide linear range (~5 orders), ultra-sensitivity (~fg/mL ) and high specificity.

Our technology:
Our platform utilizes patented Fiber Optic Particle Plasmon Resonance (FOPPR™) and IN-Chip (auto-flowing microfluidic chip) platform technology for life science research and in vitro diagnostics markets, enabling molecule measurement of proteins, nucleic acids and cells. The technology of combining FOPPR & IN-Chip can shorten the time consumed in detecting biomarkers at the laboratory from three hours to just several minutes and enhance the detection sensitivity ( pg/ml) of devices which allows our product to gather data comparable to top diagnostic laboratories.

Market issues:
Researchers and clinicians rely extensively on biomarkers as research and clinical tools. However, many biomarkers are not detectable using conventional technologies. Under this circumstance, biomarkers only detect relatively narrow ranges that reflect more advanced disease conditions. For advanced medical research and early disease diagnosis, the biomarker detection range needs to expand into a wide range.
