Since 2013, Insight Medical Solutions (IMS) has actively developed the prototype of a magnetically controlled capsule endoscope. The magnetical control method can be a solution for esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) inspection. After years of R&D and a clinical test, the first magnetically controlled capsule endoscope capable of a complete examination of EGD was officially launched in Taiwan in September 2019. Singapore Menarini Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd. holds the exclusive agency in the Taiwan area. With innovative and research capabilities, IMS aims to develop safer and more effective medical equipment to improve social welfare and people's health.
