2. Product Functions：
‧ Gear Traction Machines: The worm gear design is the traditional model, and helical gear design is an improved version which is more efficient and has a longer product life compared to worm gear type.
‧ PM Traction Machines：In response to the strong demand of the market, Nagaoka launched the gearless PM traction machines with excellent characteristics, such as 1. compact size 2. high operation safety 3. high efficiency 4. no fuel consumption and low pollution 5. machine runs smoothly with low noise & small vibration and 6. it's the most suitable for machine room-less use.
‧ Compound Traction Machines：Because of the strong demand of the market for replacing old gear traction machines with new ones, Nagaoka developed a new type of compound traction machines: PMG series which is eqipped with PM motor and helical gear. This series of products are suitable for all kinds of elevators and are the best choice for replacing old traction machines with new ones under the roping 1:1. Besides, this series of products have the advantages of improving gear type efficiency, energy saving, compact size and low replacement cost, etc. Furthermore, compared with traditional worm gear models, helical gears are more efficient."
